This 3 week course, How to Illustrate a Book, guides students through the entire picture book creative process—from inventing characters and designing worlds to illustrating and hand binding a finished book they can proudly share with family and friends.

Classes are designed for both young and experienced artists who love to imagine, draw, and tell stories.

Students will build real artistic skills through fun, engaging lessons that encourage creativity, observation, and problem-solving. Every class introduces new techniques while allowing each person to develop their own unique style.

Class sizes are intentionally kept small so every student receives personal instruction, encouragement, and plenty of one-on-one feedback. Plus, there will be "homework" after each class, when drawings can be refined and ideas can be explored.

Whether they already love drawing or are just beginning, students will leave each class with new skills, original artwork, and greater confidence in their creativity.

Classes will focus on:

  • Character Creation

  • World Building

  • Storytelling

  • Visual Communication

  • Color and Style

The 3 week course is $195 per student and includes all materials and supplies.
